BRICS Youth Assembly Conference is over

BRICS Youth Assembly Conference has ended at Altai State University. The conference was held in the framework of the ASU Student Associations Development Program. The conference was initiated by the National Youth Council of Russia under the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and Asian Universities Association.

Within 3 days of the conference the participants and experts were working on the concept of BRICS youth organization establishment. On 25 June 2016 the opening ceremony took place, where such prominent specialists as programming director of the National Committee for BRICS Research Liana A. Vyazovskaya, vice chairman of the National Youth Council of Russia Lukiana I. Suvorova, head of ASU Department of Extracurricular and Educational Work Anton A. Tselevitch, vice chairman of Russian Engineers Union and Oeconomicus club member Vitaliy A. Ilyin, vice chairman of Altai Regional Department of Russian Rural Youth Union Anastasia Yu. Shabanova took part.

Resolution on BRICS Youth Assembly has become an outcome of the conference. The countries’ representatives can bring their proposals to Youth Assembly for a week after resolution adoption.

Conference expert, vice chairman of Russian Engineers Union, Oeconomicus club member Vitaliy A. Ilyin commented on Youth Assembly’s future:

“I hope that BRICS Youth Assembly will be able to coordinate youth initiatives, elaborate effective decisions and offer them to their countries for them to implement. It will allow to increase countries’ potential and to provide the opportunities for us: we do not just unite, but create synergy that will help us achieve more success, friendship, piece, good neighbouring relations. BRICS Youth Assembly will boost all these processes.”
