The experience of Rubtsovsk Institute (Branch) of flagship Altai State University on the implementation of separate waste collection was included in the collection of academic articles “Environmental Initiatives in Russian Universities. Successful Practices and Guide to Action”.

The students of Rubtsovsk Institute have implemented separate waste collection on an ongoing basis. They installed a number of containers for collecting waste paper, PET plastic and glass. Thanks to the active environmental education work and the implementation of water conservation and energy saving practices on the basis of the university, the institute entered the world UI GreenMetric ranking.
