Postgraduate student from Tajikistan carries out research at ASU

Young scientist from Tajikistan Zokhir Sarmikosov has already been taking a postgraduate course at Altai State University Department of Radio Physics and Theoretical Physics for two years. Within these years Zokhir has taken active part in accomplishing several relevant research objectives in the area of electronics and electric engineering.

Currently, Zokhir’s work is dedicated to the development of automated installation for the purpose of pulsing transformer’s characteristics research. The work is conducted in the framework of commercial agreement between Altai State University and Altai Geophysical Plant. The latest research results have shown the possibility of producing pulsing transformers with the given characteristics out of materials existing on the market. Zokhir presented the result at Youth Science Days forum, which is conducted at ASU at the moment.
