ASU occupied high position in the ranking of quality of financial management

Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has published preliminary results of monitoring of universities’ financial management in 2016.

The ranking of higher education establishments is based on analysis of such indicators as quality of planning, financial stability, obeyance of laws and regulations, and strategic development.

Altai State University took the 28th position among 227 higher education establishments within the jurisdiction of Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

ASU gained the maximum of points in 14 out of 20 factors estimated by the ministry. As a result, the university managed to outrun 15 out of 17 higher education establishments of 5–100 project listed in the ranking. The only universities of 5–100 project, who have been positioned higher than ASU, are National University of Science and Technology “MISIS” and B.N. Yeltsin Ural Federal University.

Positions of other universities of Altai Krai start from the 64th place, Irkutsk Oblast – from the 33rd place, Kemerovo Oblast – from the 60th place, and Omsk Oblast – from the 137th place.
