Altai State University wishes happy Knowledge Day

Dear students, lecturers, employees and visitors of Altai State University!

Today is September 1, Knowledge Day, which is the beginning of academic year. This is the start of important period, because education plays a crucial role in everybody’s life and helps people shape vivid and creative personality. 3,700 first-year students applied to our university this year. Plenty of talented, intelligent, young people have joined ASU.

In 2017 ASU has been granted the status of flagship university of Altai Krai and Russia. It is one of the most significant achievements, but not the only one. ASU has once again confirmed high quality of educational, scientific and cultural potential by enhancement of its positions in Russian and international rankings such as Webometrics, Round University Ranking, Expert RA, and so on. Altai State University is an important research center, an internationally recognized higher educational establishment. It is a place for active and many-sided student life. All this have become possible due to efforts and productive work of scientists, lecturers, employees, students, and partners of Altai State University.
