On 15 September 2017 Russian-American Anti-Cancer Center will hold International Seminar on Molecular Diagnostic and Therapy of Human Diseases at Altai State University.

The first inaugural seminar was organized by Russian-American Anti-Cancer Center in the framework of Bio-Asia Altai International Biotechnological Symposium in September 2015. Two years after that, leading scientists from Russia and the United States of America will gather again in order to discuss fundamental and practical issues of science connected with development of innovative technologies for molecular diagnostic and therapy of human diseases.

“The main goal of our seminar is to get acquainted with interesting developments, authors of which are scientists from all over Russia, and tell interested researchers about our work in this area. We hope that the seminar will help participants organize useful ties and find ways for further collaboration,” Executive Director of Russian-American Anti-Cancer Center, Candidate of Biology Andrey I. Shapoval specified.

The seminar will be attended by outstanding young scientists from Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, and other cities. Leading speakers will include Chief Physician of Altai Regional Oncologic Dispensary, Honoured Doctor of Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Oncology of Altai State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander F. Shoyhet; famous American scientist, specialist in early immune diagnostic and prevention of cancer, immune oncologist from Arizona State University (USA), Professor Stephen Johnston.

“Our colleague from Nizhny Novgorod Medical Academy, oncologist Svyatoslav Zinovyev is going to demonstrate diagnostic biochip at the seminar. He received a prestigious prize in medicine for this development. These biochips and our micro arrays are used for diagnostic of oncological diseases,” Andrey I. Shapoval said.

It remains to be added that the conference will be organized by Altai State University, Altai Branch of N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, Altai State Medical University, and Arizona State University.
