ASU professor participated in the meeting of international dissertation committee in Kazakhstan

On December 7–8, 2017 Professor of the Department of Ecology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology Galina G. Sokolova once again took part in the work of the International Dissertation Committee for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree of in Biology at S. Toraighyrov Pavlodar State University.

Defense of three dissertations took place in the framework of the meeting.

"All the works were carried out under the joint supervision of doctors of biologyfrom Kazakhstan and Russia. They used modern research methods, which can be characterized by a high level of practical and theoretical significance of the results obtained," G.G. Sokolova noted.

Currently, a doctoral student from Karaganda State Medical University is preparing his dissertation for defense in this committee under the supervision of doctors of biology G.G. Sokolova and B.Zh. Kultanova.
