Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Novosibirsk pays working visit to ASU

During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of further cooperation between the flagship university of Altai Krai and the Republic of Tajikistan and, above all, with scientific and educational organizations of the country. At present, about 160 Tajik students are studying at ASU, and the main partners of the university are Tajik National University, Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU), and others.

The Consul General confirmed the intention to strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of education between Altai State University and the universities of Tajikistan.

"We continue the pursuit of our goals and plan to increase the number of Tajik students in Altai State University. In the future, we intend to organize the preparation of our postgraduate students and candidates of sciences in Altai State University, conduct academic exchanges, and develop scientific and educational ties. In a word, we will define areas of common interests and develop further cooperation between the universities of Tajikistan and the flagship university of Altai Krai," Zardi Shamsiddin Kurbonzoda noted.

The Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Novosibirsk also wished Tajik students studying at Altai State University to devote as much time as possible to studies and not to waste it in vain.

"Every minute of our life is precious, therefore, appreciate the opportunities that you receive in terms of education, the ability to supplement your knowledge and improve your competence on a daily basis. Do not postpone what you can do today. And read more books, set aside your gadgets, pick up a book by Pushkin, Lermontov or Tolstoy, improve your vocabulary of the Russian language with the help of the classic literature. All this will help you become better and achieve much in life," Zardi Shamsiddin Kurbonzoda appealed to the students.

At the end of the visit to Altai State University the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Novosibirsk met with the activists from among Tajik students studying at various faculties of Altai State University.
