Asian Student Forum sums up the results of youth projects presentation

Asian Student Forum that opened on October 9 at Altai State University continues its work in Altai Republic.

Young people from more than forty higher educational institutions of four Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia) proceeded to the educational part of the forum by taking part in the events aimed at developing international youth cooperation within the Association of Asian Universities.

In particular, a conference of the Youth Council of the Association of Asian Universities was held Altai Republic. The participants discussed the formation of a unified Asian space for the members of the association. The main tasks of the union are to create information interaction between the universities, conduct joint events and exchange experience. These questions were considered by the participants and experts. In particular, the proposal was made to create a separate council page on the association’s website.

On Wednesday, the youth projects presentations was held. It was aimed at the development of international student interaction. The presentation had three directions: Science and Education of the Future, Youth Self-Government, Intercultural Dialogue.

In addition to solving important issues of international cooperation, the forum participants were able to get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Altai. The students took part in master classes on making dolls and pottery, from which they learned about the basics of making clay products and the peculiarities of creating dolls from flaps of fabrics and threads. Fans of sports took part in a mini-golf tournament. After that the participants of the Asian Student Forum summed up the results of youth projects presentation and made a bus tour around Altai Republic.
