ASU will send four delegates to The XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi

The list of delegates includes Chairman of Joint Student Council Ivan A. Subochev, Chairman of Student League  Savva V. Shipilov , Senior Laboratory Technician Maxim Yu. Varavin, and winner of numerous international and all-Russian youth conferences, third-year student of the Faculty of Law Bella A. Teo balt.

“All young people, who have been humbled to go to the festival, are university’s real partners in educational, scientific, sport and cultural activities, as well as student government leaders not only in the university, but also in the whole region. They deserve to go to the festival. They fairly went through the multi-level selection and now they are going to represent Altai Krai at the key event in the area of international youth policy, the participants of which will include 20 thousand people,” Head of the Department for Extracurricular and Educational Work Anton A. Tselevich emphasized.

Addressing the delegates with parting words, Anton A. Tselevich wished them to honorably represent Altai State University and Altai Krai in Sochi, share their work experience, acquire new skills, establish contacts, and become friends with Russian and foreign youth leaders.

“Don’t forget that you are a part of the big university family. Let our motto “I am from Altai State University, so I can do anything!” accompany you during the festival and inspire you for life. Having become participants of the world festival, you have written your names in the history of international youth movement. These are not buzzwords, this is a fact! That is why you should use 100 percent of the opportunity,” Head of the Office for Extracurricular and Educational Work Lilia V. Grishakova.
