ASU makes preparations for The I Congress on the Russian Language in Bishkek

On 3 October 2017 a meeting dedicated to the preparations for The I Congress on the Russian Language in Bishkek took place on the premises of B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University.

The key organizers of the congress include Altai State University and B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University, on the premises of which the international event will be held on 25–26 October 2017.

The meeting hosted Rector of Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University V.I. Nifadev, Vice Rector for International Affairs at Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University L.Ch. Sydykova, Head of the Department for Educational Process Organization and Interdepartmental Collaboration M.M. Rudova, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University A.A. Bekbalaev, Head of the Department of the Russian Language at Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University G.P. Shepeleva, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Altai State University L.I. Nekhvyadovich, and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Altai State University K.A. Melekhova.

Opening the meeting, Rector of Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University V.I. Nifadev noted the fact of fruitful collaboration with Altai State University in organization of joint event and successful provision of Kyrgyzstan-Asia 2015 international student forum.

“Our university supports initiative of ASU for provision of The I International Congress Exhibition, as this project is aimed at promotion of the Russian language as a mainstay of civic self-identity and effective international dialogue between Russian and Kyrgyzstan,” noted Rector of B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University V.I. Nifadev.

In the course of the meeting the program of the future congress was discussed. In the framework of the congress in Bishkek educational platforms, exhibitions, presentations, plenary sessions, online survey, and educational seminars are to be realized. The congress will be completed with a bright festival of Russian and Kyrgyz national cultures with the participation of student creative teams and professional performers.
