Universities of 4 countries will discuss new directions for the development of cooperation at ASU

On January 31, a strategic session on the development of international cooperation in the Central Asian scientific, educational and cultural space will be held at Altai State University.

At the event, organized under the auspices of the Association of Asian Universities, it is planned to discuss the experience and best practices in this area of cooperation.

The session will be attended by representatives of higher educational institutions of 4 countries. In particular, Russia will be represented by Altai State University, Tomsk State University, Gorno-Altaisk State University, Tuva State University, Katanov Khakass State University and Kemerovo State University.

Kazakhstan will be represented by S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, D. Serikbaev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Three universities of Kyrgyzstan (B.N. Yeltsin Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Zh. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University and Osh State University), two universities of Tajikistan (Tajik National University and Russian-Tajik Slavonic University), public organizations and national-cultural associations will also take part in the session.

Within the framework of the event, in addition to thematic tracks and an excursion program, it is planned to open an exposition dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev, during which special exhibits from East Kazakhstan State Technical University will be donated to the Honorary Department “Kazakhstan Way and N. Nazarbayev” of Altai State University.
