ASU solidified its positions in the ranking of TOP-50 universities by reputation

RAEX (Expert Ranking Agency) has for the third time prepared the ranking of universities by their reputation in major directions. It published the lists of top-50 universities in such areas as “Technical, Natural and Exact Sciences” and “Economics and Management” and top-10 universities in “Mathematics and Natural Sciences”, “Information Technologies”, “Technical Sciences, Engineering and Technologies”, “Humane and Social Sciences” and “Medicine”.

Altai State University was presented in different lists simultaneously.

In top-50 Russian universities by economics and management ASU has taken the 17th place and outranked 5 federal and 7 national research universities. In particular, ASU managed to outrun such respected high education establishments as Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, South Ural State University, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.

Moreover, this year ASU has been included in top-50 Russian universities ranking in the area of technical, natural and exact sciences and has captured the 42nd position. Altai State University outperformed such institutions as Irkutsk National Research Technical University, V.G. Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University and Voronezh State University. In this ranking ASU was positioned right after Dmitry Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology and Moscow Technological University.

It is worth noting that ASU has become one of the 3 Siberian universities that managed to be placed in both economic and technical rankings and to confirm their image of the Russian best multidisciplinary universities.

RAEX rankings evaluate universities with the help of surveys, which have been conducted by the agency since 2012. The agency takes into account respondents’ opinions, employers’ demand for graduates and level of scientific and research activity. The survey participants include representatives of academic community, companies, employers, students and graduates. Total number of respondents is more than 60 thousand people.
