ASU entered the top 20 most effective universities on work with electronic library
Altai State University ranked 11th among all Russian universities in this ranking and took the 2nd position among the flagship universities. The organizers noted that 550 universities of the country were evaluated for the ranking.
The ranking evaluated the book circulation, the amount of content scanned, the number of active users of the university and other important factors.
High dynamics of the university’s rating positions is connected with the teachers’ active work in the development and implementation of electronic methodological materials, the use of multimedia and interactive teaching technologies, the support of the implementation of educational programs and individual educational trajectories of the unified educational portal. The number of e-courses available for students of different levels exceeded 1,500 units. There are 747 teachers and more than 15 thousand students among the active users of the portal. The increase in the number of electronic courses in 2017 was accompanied by the replenishment of the portal’s resource base by increasing the ICT competence of teachers, training online seminars, tutorials and financial incentives for the best authors and developers of electronic courses.
