ASU enters top 500 world’s universities by Life Sciences

Round University Ranking (RUR) agency evaluate performance of 761 world’s leading higher education institutions by 6 broad subject areas: Humanities, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Social Sciences. Altai State University was included in the ranking by Life Sciences.

Life Sciences subject area includes such sciences as biology, biomedicine, bioinformatics and others.

The agency rated 39 Russian universities. Altai State University is ranked 15th among Russian universities and 450th on the world list, ranking between the participants of the 5-100 Global Competitiveness Project – Siberian Federal University and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

It should also be noted that according to the parameters of the subject ranking characterizing the level of internationalization, ASU entered the top 250 world’s universities, which is the so-called “Silver League” of world universities.

Round University Ranking (RUR) is the first global university ranking of Russian origin, published by RUR agency in conjunction with Clarivate Analytics. The ranking has been evaluating the activities of 1.1 thousand leading universities from 85 countries over the past 10 years on 20 indicators that measure four areas of university activity: the quality of teaching, the quality of research, the level of internationalization and the level of financial stability.
