ASU was included in top-35 of Nature Index Ranking

On 14 September 2017 international Nature Index Ranking was published. The ranking is based on author affiliation information collated from research articles published in an independently selected group of 68 high-quality science journals.

Altai State University took the 31st position among 79 higher education establishments of Russia that were included in the list. ASU was also given the 2nd place by change in the article output (749.1%) and became the only university of Altai Krai to be included in the ranking.

What is more, Altai State University managed to outrun a number of leading Russian higher education establishments, participants of 5-100 Project: Siberian Federal University (41), South Ural State University (46), Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (50), and Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI” (56).

Universities of such neighboring regions as Kemerovo Oblast, Omsk Oblast, Altai Republic, Republic of Buryatia, Tuva Republic and Republic of Khakassia were not included in the ranking. Universities of Irkutsk Oblast occupy positions starting from the 61st one.
