ASU has joined top-15 high-demand Russian universities

Social Research Agency “Social Navigator” of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “International News Agency Rossiya Segodnya (Russia Today)” with the participation of Market Research Center has for the first time made the ranking of Russian universities by the demand for them in 2015.

Altai State University was ranked 14th in Classical Universities nomination right behind the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhniy Novgorod.

When estimating the universities, the experts were considering such factors as percentage of graduates, who received job offers after completing their vocational full-time training course; percentage of profits from scientific research work and educational services provided to other organizations in the total amount of profit; academic staff members’ citation index.

“Our new ranking shows the actual results of universities’ work and the demand for them on the side of the labor market. At the same time, it allows prospective students to find the higher education establishments, where they could get a profession popular with companies,” explained the Social Navigator project supervisor Natalia Tyurina.

It remains to be added, that 463 state, ministerial, municipal and private universities of 80 constituent territories of the Russian Federation were included to the ranking.
