On 11–15 April 2016 M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted the 23rd International Scientific Conference of Graduate and Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists “Lomonosov”. ASU Faculty of Sociology was represented by Master’s Degree student Syldysmaa Saryglar majoring in sociology of management. She shared her impressions:

“Lomonosov is a traditional international conference, where students and young scientists from all regions of Russia and other countries participate. I was glad to be a part of such major event. I took part in “Family Sociology and Demography” workshop and delivered a report called “Family attitudes of modern young people in terms of national cultural peculiarities”, which included the results of my research conducted in Altai Krai and Tyva Republic. Besides the conference, I attended different lectures and masterclasses in the framework of Moscow Spring Sociological School. I was especially impressed with the lecture made by professor Heidrun Zinecker from Leipzig University.

I would like to thank Altai State University for financial help and my lecturers for constant support of my scientific work.

All in all, there were 5 students from different faculties of ASU at the conference. I am glad that I’ve got acquainted to them and would like to wish them success in all their endeavours.”
