Chinese students received their SCO University Certificates

SCO University Certificates has been awarded to Chinese students for the third time at Altai State University. Northeast Normal University (China) students have completed master’s degree program “Foreign Regional Studies” at the Faculty of History. The Certificates were awarded by Faculty of History Dean, Doctor of History E.V. Demchik and Head of the International Affairs Department A.Yu. Rezinkin.

Currently, 11 Chinese students study at Altai State University in the framework of SCO University. The number of students coming to ASU to participate in this program is growing every year. This year the number of SCO University students has doubled in comparison with the previous year.

The Certificate allows continuing education at any SCO University, completing the program and getting two diplomas of both sending and hosting universities.

SCO University members include more than 80 universities of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

“I would like to warmly thank Altai State University, Faculty of History, academic staff members, who worked with us, used all their efforts to develop kind relationship between Russian and Chinese students, made the process of our education comfortable and interesting,” said one of the students Yan Liping.
