International relations experts of Barnaul and Almaty develop scientific cooperation

In early June, Asel A. Tokeeva, a doctoral candidate at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Almaty), underwent an internship at the Department of World History and International Relations of Altai State University. Head of the Department of World History and International Relations, Doctor of History, Professor Yu.G. Chernyshov acted as her scientific co-supervisor. This is the second time when Altai State University makes a cooperation agreement on dissertation with Almaty university.

During the internship A.A. Tokeeva received the necessary consultations, attended the classes of her interest, and spoke at the methodical seminar on the subject of her research.

When discussing the concept of her dissertation, the professors of the department A.A. Arshintseva, A.M. Betmakaev, O.Yu. Kurnykin and others noted the high level of development of the topic on cooperation between modern Kazakhstan and China by the author. The experts also made some recommendations for improving the work. In general, the dissertation was recognized as relevant to modern approaches to the study of international relations and worthy of defense.

The Department of World History and International Relations shows gratitude to the Acting Vice-Rector for International Affairs Development R.I. Raikin and the staff of the International Relations Office for the prompt processing of the necessary documents.
