ASU Cultural Education Center was established for the purpose of development, preservation and diffusion of cultural values in the modern society, giving ASU an image of the main regional cultural and educational center, resources attraction for work in cultural area.

Cultural Education Center was founded upon a decision of the ASU academic board on 18 February 2015. Faculty of Arts dean, Doctor of Arts Larisa I. Nekhvyadovich has become Center’s director.

The most important objectives of the Cultural Education Center are the following:

• Exposure, shaping, development and continuous improvement of cultural and spiritual values.
• Develop university employees' cultural and creative potential.
• Provision of cultural entertainment for the university staff and whole regional society.
• Providing assistance to cultural and creative social organizations, hobby clubs, workshops.
• Establishment and development of communication between ASU and other regional universities, culture and arts establishments.
• Organization of cultural and educational activities.
• Improvement of material and technical basis.
• Raising capital with the help of existing material and technical basis by means of activities organization, advertising and rendering of cultural services.
