Natural monuments will be preserved thanks to Faculty of Biology scientists

Faculty of Biology scientists have taken part in field studies; long-term monitoring; collecting, research and consolidation of information about natural and anthropogenic complexes and objects and prepared a documentation package for the state ecological expertise of the object “Materials of complex ecological review of Aleysk, Mamontovo and Shipunovo territories of Altai Krai that prove their status of natural monuments of regional importance such as Kharkovskoye and Syropyatkovskoye Lakes, Voronye Lake, salt marshes near Bobrovskoye village”, as well as for the functional zonation of the state complex wildlife sanctuary Kislukhinsky.

The Department of Natural Resources and Rationing under the Altai Krai Natural Resources and Ecology Administration reports that the state ecological expertise of the object has been finished: project documentation of the materials of complex ecological review of Aleysk, Mamontovo and Shipunovo territories of Altai Krai that prove their status of natural monuments of regional importance such as Kharkovskoye and Syropyatkovskoye Lakes, Voronye Lake, salt marshes near Bobrovskoye village; Draft Regulation of Altai Krai Administration “On making changes in the Regulation of Altai Krai Administration № 278 of 26.06.2007”, Draft Regulation of Altai Krai Administration “On making changes in the regulation of Altai Krai Administration
№ 220 of 06.05.2014”.

The Order of Altai Krai Natural Resources and Ecology Administration № 1338 of 30.11.2015 has approved the positive conclusion of the expert committee of the state ecological expertise № 6 of 27.11.2015 on the abovementioned object. The impact on the environment during the object realization was considered to be tolerable, so the object was recommended for application.

Complex ecological expertise of a territory includes collecting, studying and consolidation of information about natural and anthropogenic complexes and objects over places of possible foundation of protected wildlife territory; about its nature-oriented, scientific, aesthetic, recreational and health-improving value oriented at further documentation production, which would prove the necessity of protected wildlife territory foundation.
