Altai State University mathematicians defended their graduation papers commissioned by industrial partners

The work of the State Examination Commission has been completed at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies of Altai State University.

Undergraduate and graduate students presented their final qualifying works, 56 of whom defended them at the Department of Informatics and Theoretical Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics (TCAM).

As noted by the members of the attestation commissions (profile Mathematical and software for computers, Department of Informatics), 01.04.02 Applied Informatics (profile Information Technologies in the Management of Social and Economic Processes, Department of TCAM), 01.03.02 Applied Informatics (profile Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies 02.03.02 Fundamental Informatics and Information Technologies (Department of Informatics), all works were of an applied nature, many of them were practice- and project-oriented. Directions: 01.04.02 Applied Mathematics and Informatics (profile Mathematical Methods and Information Technologies in Ecology and Nature Management, Department of TKPM), 01.04.02 Applied Mathematics and Informatics.

Mishchenko Maksim, "Development of an Android application for collecting and analyzing medical data from patients with type 1 diabetes" (Department of Informatics, supervisor A.I. Piyanzin)

For the Altai Regional Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health, sections of the site of the endocrinology department have been developed and implemented: School of Diabetes Mellitus and Self-Control Diary. Joint scientific research on predicting complications of diabetes mellitus in children and adolescents of Altai Krai is carried out with specialists of the Department of Endocrinology.

Together with the Altai Regional Medical Information and Analytical Center, it is planned to conduct joint research work on the processing and analysis of medical information, the application of machine learning methods and technologies to big data in order to monitor and predict various diseases in Altai Krai.

4) Institute of Biology and Biotechnology:

Olga Fast "Development of a software module for the analysis of images of biological macro- and microobjects" (Department of Informatics, supervisor L. Khvorova, co- supervisor A. Vaganov, Institute of Biology and Biotechnology).
The computer program "FAST: Functional Automated System Tool" has been introduced and used in the South Siberian Botanical Garden in research and educational processes. Documents for state registration of a computer program have been submitted.

The work of Daniil Shpunarsky "Research of factors influencing the migration processes in the Russian Federation" (Department of TKPM, head A. Manicheva), as well as the Project of Lev Bugrov and Dmitry Volozhanin "Development of a database of applicants and graduates of IMIT" (department Informatics, supervisor L.A. Khvorova).
