ASU graduate has captured gold in 110-meter hurdling

ASU graduate Sergey Shubenkov has become the first Russian sportsman to get gold on the World Championship in 110-meter hurdling.

World Athletics Championship was taking place from August 22 to August 30 in Beijing, where Shubenkov has won the 1st place for the national team.

The previous national record was also achieved by Sergey Shubenkov on the competition in France, where he managed to hurdle 110 meters in 13,06 seconds.

Sergey Shubenkov is a Faculty of Law graduate. He is 24 and that was his first gold medal on the World Championship. He also won a bronze medal in 2013 in Moscow. In 2012 and 2014 he has won on the Europe Championship in 110-meter hurdling.
