Internship in Japan for ASU students

In the framework of interacademic agreement between Altai State University and Kanazawa University (Japan) the admission for the annual short-term exchange programs has been opened.

  • Program A. Kanazawa University Student Exchange Program (KUSEP)

KUSEP is a short-term program, offering Japanese language classes, as well as classes lectured in English on Japanese culture and aspects of things, and on major subjects. Applicants must have a good command of English language to understand lectures in English. Beginner’s level of Japanese language is preferable.

  • Program B. Kanazawa University Japanese Language and Cultural Program

This program aims to provide students from overseas with an opportunity to improve their proficiency in Japanese language and to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture and society. It is a one year program conducted solely in Japanese, so the applicants must have a good command of the Japanese language to converse, read and write basic Japanese.

  • Program C. Kanazawa University General Short-term Exchange

The program gives the full-time students of 3rd and 4th year opportunity of conducting research and attending classes for a semester/a year. Students of any major are eligible. The classes are conducted in Japanese (education in English is possible). A mandatory requirement is to have a contact with a Kanazawa University professor established. An applicant must have a proficiency level of either English language (if the education process is conducted in English) or Japanese language (if the education process is conducted in Japanese).

  • Program E. Kanazawa University Student Exchange Program for Science and Technology (KUEST)

KUEST is a short-term program, offering research activity at a laboratory, special Japanese language classes,
as well as classes lectured in English on Japanese culture and aspects of things, and on major subjects. The students whose major are science or technology are eligible. Applicants must have a good command of English language to understand lectures in English. Beginner’s level of Japanese language is preferable.
