ASU scientist delivered a lecture at The II International School for Young Scientists “Heavy Metals in the Environment”

On 9–11 October 2017 The II International School for Young Scientists “Heavy Metals in the Environment” was held on the premises of Novosibirsk State Agrarian University with financial support from Russian Science Foundation.

The leading scientists from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia had been invited to the event as speakers on relevant problems of biogeochemical research.

Altai State University was represented by Head of the Department of Technosphere Safety and Analytical Chemistry, Doctor of Chemistry Sergey V. Temerev. He delivered a lecture entitled “Special Aspects of Preparation of Analytical Soil, Plant and Animal Samples for Instrumental Determination of Heavy Metals” co-authored by Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Technosphere Safety and Analytical Chemistry Viktor A. Petukhov.

“Novosibirsk science was represented by such outstanding institutes of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science as Institute for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Institute for Cytology and Genetics, Institute for Water and Ecological Problems, Institute for Geology and Mineralogy, and V.I. Vernadsky Institute for Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry. University science was represented by Altai State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University. Photos show that young scientists of Novosibirsk State Agrarian University and research officers of Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science demonstrate genuine interest in the topic,” Sergey V. Temerev explained.

The II International School for Young Scientists “Heavy Metals in the Environment” resulted in publication of collection of scientific papers.
