Faculty of Law lecturers participated in international scientific conference

On February 16-18, "Criminal Planet: Criminal and Criminological Diversity of Models for Crime Prevention", an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the memory of M.I. Kovalev, took place on the premises of the Yeltsin Center in Yekaterinburg.

The conference hosted judges of the International Court of Justice and leading experts in criminal law and criminology from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Serbia, Great Britain, the Philippines and Italy.

Altai State University was represented by the Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Doctor of Law, Professor A.P. Detkov and Assistant Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Candidate of Law A.A. Korennaya, who took part in panel discussions on the problems of combating international organized crime.

Kovalev Readings, organized by the Department of Criminal Law of the Ural State University, are named after the outstanding Russian scientist Mitrofan I. Kovalev, participant of the Great Patriotic War, former head of the Department of Criminal Law, founder of the Ural criminal law school, Doctor of Law, Professor.
