Globally renowned scientists will take part in educational conference at ASU

On September 20–21, 2018 Altai State University will host the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Development of the Educational Space at Regional Universities as a Priority Project of the Russian Federation: Best Practices".

The participation was confirmed by scientists from Europe, Asia, Africa, Central Asia and Kazakhstan, including:

Dmitry A. Ruban – Philosophiae Doctor (the University of Pretoria, South Africa), PhD in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Business under Southern Federal University, member of the Swiss Association of Energy Geoscientists, MinPol International Agency, and editorial board of several international journals: Proceedings of the Geologists' Association, Geologos, Stratigraphy and Sedimentology of Oil-Gas Basins, and Geoloski anali Balkanskoga poluostrva. Dmitry A. Ruban undertook internship at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics under Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (Azerbaijan), University of Hawaii at Manoa (USA), Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel), North-Caucasus Federal University (Russia), has more than 500 scientific publications, including articles in leading international and domestic journals: Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, Terra Nova, Tourism Management Perspectives, National Interests: Priorities and Security, took part in field work in the Caucasus, the South of the Russian Platform, the Southern Urals, the Alps, the Appalachian Mountains, Hawaii, etc.
