Tochka: multi-functional youth centre opened in Rubtsovsk

For the first time in Rubtsovsk and the South-West of Altai Krai, a public organization Center for Support and Development of Public Initiatives Sfera and Rubtsovsk Molodoy, with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation, and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, opened a multifunctional youth center called the Tochka.

Construction works continued for 8 months, and student teams of the Rubtsovsk Institute (branch) of Altai State University, as volunteers, helped the youth center bring forward its opening.

And so, on November 13 the Tochka opened! At the opening, words of gratitude were said to the Rubtsovsk Institute (branch) of Altai State University for help and support of the project.

Also, letters of gratitude from the Department of Youth Policy and Implementation of Social Development Programs of Altai Krai were presented to Alexei Olimpiev, student of the institute, and Irina Kungurova, head of the student centre.
The centre will function in the following directions:

- Workshop of alternative creativity Kamorka (The space has the necessary equipment for practicing pottery, working with epoxy resin, painting on water and sand, etc.);

- Lecture hall (The centre has the necessary multimedia equipment for conducting lectures, seminars and educational events);

- Photo and video studio (The first youth media center in Rubtsovsk, with the necessary equipment for creating video content, conducting live broadcasts, etc.);

- Co-working area (Free space with frameless furniture and computer office equipment for work);

- Patriotic Center / Project opening dates - March 2021 / (The space equipped with mannequins for practicing first aid skills, etc. Within the framework of its activities, a Shooting and Crossbow School will be launched).

Also, with the support of the Department of the Administration of the Governor and the Government of Altai Krai on Domestic Affairs, within the framework of the competition for Grants of the Governor of Altai Krai in the field of socially oriented non-profit organizations, a Resource Center for the support of non-profit organizations in the South-West of Altai Krai was created on the territory of the Tochka. The main task of this centre is consulting of initiative groups, public organizations and socially oriented non-profit organizations on accounting, legal support of the organization, as well as on issues of grant writing and project management.

Natalya Kuvshinova, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VII convocation, took part in the opening of the centre. "The youth of Rubtsovsk always pleases with their inexhaustible energy and desire to work for the benefit of their small homeland!" Natalia Kuvshinova shared.

Irina Rybina, Deputy Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Implementation of Social Development Programs of Altai Krai, was also present at the opening. She noted that the youth centre the Tochka represents excellent zoning and has many work areas, a bright design and an excellent project office with ready-made developments, the possibility of face-to-face and online broadcasting. “And the most important value of this space is the cool people, the cool team”, emphasized Irina Rybina.
