The educational seminar for teachers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia was held at ASU

Retraining and Qualification Improvement Center has organized and conducted the “Peculiarities of Russian language teaching in modern educational space” seminar for teachers working at secondary schools of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

The seminar took place on November 9–13; there were teachers from 5 Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan cities (Bishkek, Pavlodar, Taldykorgan, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Tolgar) and two teachers from Mongolia participating.

The seminar was dedicated to the relevant problems and directions of Russian language and literature teaching. There were such issues discussed as the specific character of Russian grammar teaching, linguistic analysis of a text, professional standarts for Russian language teachers, working with gifted children at Russian language and literature classes, implementation of inclusive education program, peculiarities of modern testing in Russian as foreign language and final assessment in Russian language and literature. Cultural program for the seminar participants was also organized: they took part in the VII International Ethno-Forum “Siberian Talks – 2015” and went to see the sights of Barnaul.
