International Summer Linguistic School at ASU

In the framework of ASU Student Associations Development Program the International Summer Linguistic School “Intercultural Communication” Russian Language and its Historical and Cultural Meaning for Asian Region” will be organized by Association of Asian Universities on 23–30 July 2016 on the premises of Krasilovo Lake recreation center.

The purpose of the school is to promote learning Russian as foreign language among students studying at partner institutions of Asian Universities Organization, as well as to attract foreign students to Altai State University. The working languages are Russian and Chinese.

The school participants will include Russian and foreign students and ASU lecturers. The event program comprises practical exercise lessons “Peculiarities of Communication between Different Cultures”, “Behavioral Sequence of a Foreign Student in Russia in Situations of Everyday and Professional Communication”, “Oratorical Skills”; training “Situations of Everyday Communication in Russia as Seen by Foreign Students”. Moreover, students will take part in adventure games, sport and tourist competitions. The school participants will get certificates by the end of the event.
