ASU student participated in information seminars in Munich

The 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law Maria Starodubtseva participated in information seminars that took place on the premises of the Europe Direct Information Center and European Commission Representation in Bavaria from 31 January to 8 February.

Russian participants included 17 people from 11 different cities. The seminar program consisted of discussions and debates. The attendees elaborated on controversial issues related to sanctions against Russia and responsive embargo, complicated relations between Russia and Germany, collapse of the European system of multiculturalism, influx of refugees, Brexit and changes on the global stage.

The seminar experts included invited lecturers from Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland. Vice President of European Commission Representation in Bavaria M. Schultz noted Russian participants’ high awareness of the situation in the European Union.

Besides educational part, event organizers gave the participants an excursion tour around Munich, Rotenburg, Augsburg, Salzburg, Dresden Castle, Nymphenburg Palace, Hohensalzburg Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle.

At the end of the event the participants received certificates of information course completion in the framework of program by the Europe Direct Information Center.
