ASU strengthens cooperation with SolBridge International School of Business

On 22 March 2017 students and lecturers of Altai State University met with senior regional manager for Russia at the Office of International Relations of SolBridge International School of Business under Woosong University (South Korea) Ksenia Kolopenko.

Ksenia Kolopenko delivered an info-session for students studying at the International Institute of Economics, Management and Informational Systems, Faculty of Mass Communication, Philology and Political Science and Faculty of History. She told the audience about exchange programs between Altai State University and Woosong University and presented the programs of summer camp 2017 at SolBridge International School of Business.

“We have been partners since 2009, when we started realizing 6-month and one-year students exchange programs, as well as double degree programs for bachelors and masters. I am aware of the fact that some of your students participated in these programs and obtained employment successfully,” noted Ksenia Kolopenko. “We discussed technical issues and changes in the framework of SolBridge Business School. I told ASU students about these changes, dwelled upon the interesting features of SolBridge, its lecturers, housing and nutritional conditions and so on. Our main specialization is business, marketing, banking and finance, entrepreneurship. We train specialists for the Asia-Pacific area, that is why we are interested in cooperation with the universities of Siberia and the Far East, where education is very good and fundamental.”

Ksenia Kolopenko noted that SolBridge was interested in carrying out short-term module programs for bachelor’s and master’s degree students, young lecturers and postgraduates.

“By participating in such exchange programs, students majoring in history or philology and studying oriental languages can practice Chinese, Korean and English and attend lectures on business culture and communication at the same time. Students of the Faculty of Law, who are willing to work in international corporations, will be able to study such subjects as Corporate Law and Business Law,” said representatives of ASU International Relations Office.

It remains to be added that 47 Russian students are currently studying at SolBridge International School of Business.
