The most original speaker at the opening of the II Summer Academy of BRICS Youth Assembly, which was held at Altai State University, appeared to be leader of Brazilian delegation Samuel Coelho de Oliveira.

In the course of his speech, Samuel gave the representatives of five BRICS countries traditional Brazilian drink cachaça as a gift. According to him, this beverage is considered to be a symbol of kind relations between the friendly nations.

Having come to Altai for the first time, Samuel was surprised at weather changeability, but he enjoyed the climate and Barnaul on the whole.

“I believe that events of such level and direction are very useful and important. It is pleasant to know that I am a representative of the whole country at this forum. I try to submit constructive proposals to the dialogue between countries participating in the Summer Academy. The forum’s main goal is to find the ways for further effective cooperation under the auspices of BRICS. As soon as I have established contacts with the team of the Brazilian President, it will be easier for me to inform the President of our country about the results of the II Summer Academy of BRICS Youth Assembly,” Samuel Coelho de Oliveira emphasized.
