TOEFL Test Center opened at ASU

TOEFL iBT Test Center has been opened at Altai State University. To date, this is the first and only certified TOEFL exam center in Altai Krai. The testing will be conducted at: Barnaul, 61 Lenina Prospect, Altai State University, classroom 202 L.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an international exam in English as a foreign language. The test was created and prepared by ETS (Educational Testing Service), a private non-profit organization located in the United States of America. The certificate of the TOEFL international exam is required for those who want to study, get an internship or work abroad, and also confirm their level of proficiency in English.

The TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test) format means that testing is conducted on a computer via the Internet. The exam lasts about 4-4.5 hours and includes the execution of assignments from the sections "Writing", "Reading", "Listening" and "Speaking".

TOEFL is recognized in more than 9,000 institutions of higher education in 130 countries, making it the most common English language test. The TOEFL certificate is valid for two years.

The closest dates for testing at Altai State University are November 18 and December 9, 2017. You can register for the exam on the official ETS website.
