ASU received an A ranking in the course of efficiency monitoring

The National Foundation for Support of Innovations in Education published an efficiency monitoring ranking of the Russian universities in 2017. The data was provided by based on the data of the Main Computing Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

According to the evaluation results of 1,129 Russian universities and their branches, Altai State University received the highest A rank for 3 out of 7 performance indicators established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and B rank for other 4 indicators.

It should be noted that ASU takes the 4th position among the universities of Siberian Federal District, only giving way to the universities of 5-100 project (Novosibirsk State University, Tomsk State University and Tomsk Polytechnic University). In the general list of universities, ASU is located on the 55th position, outstripping the 5 leading universities of Russia, included in 5-100 project, and 15 national research universities.

The efficiency monitoring ranking is annually prepared with the help of LiftUp software and methodical complex on the basis of key performance indicators published on the official website of the Main Computing Center under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
According to the methodology, ranking is carried out for each of the set of performance indicators. Based on the results of the ranking, the universities are divided into five groups (A, B, C, D, E) corresponding to their performance.
