ASU prepares for the IV International Educational Forum "Altai-Asia 2018"

On September 20–21, 2018, Altai State University will host the IV International Educational Forum "Altai-Asia 2018: Eurasian Educational Space – New Challenges and Best Practices".

Having been organized at ASU since 2012, the forum has been one of the most ambitious events of the Russian Federation, Central Asian countries and China in the development of the global education market, science, innovations and cross-border international cooperation.

The goal of Altai-Asia 2018 is to promote the dissemination of the best Russian and foreign educational practices in order to improve the quality of education and international competitiveness of universities and their successful integration into the Eurasian educational space.

The forum has established itself as an authoritative, constantly operating discussion platform for discussing topical issues in the development of education, creating an attractive social environment and access to modern technologies, creating and developing new industries based on high-tech solutions in the regions, creating an attractive social environment and quality of life in regions, as well as the mutual translation of the best experience in the Eurasian educational space.

The forum will be organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Eurasian Association of Universities, the Network University of BRICS, the Association of Classical Universities of Russia, the Association of Asian Universities. It will host leading experts from the universities of Russia, Asia and Europe.

The main issues discussed at Altai-Asia 2018 will be the problems of university competitiveness in terms of the internationalization of the world market of educational services; strategic management of the quality of education, the integration of international assessment and monitoring tools into the Russian system for assessing the quality of education; key conditions for the development of a university as a driver of innovation, technological and social development of cities and regions; transformation of educational environment in Russia, Europe, China and Asia; application of modern technologies, methods, approaches and innovations in training; development of digital technologies of the future.

Within the framework of the educational forum, various formats of communication will be offered: from informal meetings of participants and guests to master classes and foresight sessions.

It is to be reminded that the participants of the III International Educational Forum "Altai-Asia 2016: Eurasian Educational Space – New Challenges and Best Practices", held at Altai State University in late September 2016, were representatives of 11 countries.
