Students of the Preparatory Department of Russian as Foreign Language participated in the International Conference

On April 16, 2018, students of the Preparatory Department of Russian as Foreign Language under the Faculty of Mass Communications, Philology and Political Science participated in the IX International Conference "Foreign Student in the Vocational and Educational Space of a Russian University", which was held at Altai State Technical University.

12 foreign students of ASU from China, Mongolia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Mali, Djibouti, Côte d'Ivoire, Zambia, Thailand, Venezuela and Indonesia demonstrated their knowledge of the Russian language and communication skills at a special international conference for international students organized by Altai State Technical University.

The students’ reports concerned diverse topics and touched upon history, culture, social structure of the countries from which the foreign students came to Barnaul, and their future academic interests.

The students of the Preparatory Department honorably represented Altai State University and demonstrated a good command of the Russian language, which they study at our university.

All participants of the conference received recognition certificates. The abstracts of their reports are to be published in the electronic collection of the conference reports.

It is to be noted that about 50 foreign citizens from 19 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and South America are currently studying at the Preparatory Department of Altai State University.
