AltSU Chinese student won the all-Russian song contest “Faith. Hope. Love"

Chen Isu, student at the Institute of Arts and Design of Altai State University, became one of winners of the All-Russian competition of stage performance songs and author songs “Faith. Hope. Love".

The Department of Theatre Direction and Acting Skills of the Altai State Institute of Culture held online the 7th All-Russian festival-competition of stage performance songs and author songs “Faith. Hope. Love” named after Valery Zolotukhin, which was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Artists from professional theaters from different cities and regions of Russia took part in the festival-competition: Sochi, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Gorno-Altaisk, Barnaul, Biysk and others, as well as students of institutions of higher and secondary professional education in the field of culture and arts and participants of amateur vocal and theater groups.

Chen Isu, student of the Faculty of Art and Design at AltSU, took part in the competition with a popular song Katyusha.

No less responsible was the participation in the all-Russian competition in the homeland of Valery Zolotukhin. After all, rivals of the AltSU student were professional actors and students of art universities from all over the country. The more significant was the diploma of the laureate of the competition, obtained by Chen Isu, who proved the high level of vocal and acting training at the Altai State University Institute of Arts and Design.

The main goal of the festival is the civic and spiritual-moral education of the youth through acting and vocal arts, including the popularization of the multifaceted work of the outstanding actor and director, a native of Altai Krai Valery Zolotukhin.
