Representatives of 15 countries will take part in the "Altai - Asia 2020" forum organized by Altai State University

Representatives of 15 countries will take part in the IV International Educational Forum "Altai - Asia 2020: Eurasian Educational Space - New Challenges and Best Practices", which will be held at Altai State University from 24 to 26 September.

The forum has been held at the flagship university of Altai Krai since 2012. It is one of the largest events in the Russian Federation, Central Asian countries and China in the field of the development of the global market of education, science and innovation, and cross-border international cooperation.

According to the organizing committee, more than 500 representatives of various regions of Russia, near and far-abroad contries have been registered as participants in the "Altai - Asia 2020" forum.

"The geography of the IV International Educational Forum includes all federal districts of the Russian Federation. This is more than 70 cities that are part of 54 Russian regions", said the organizing committee of the forum.

"Today, modern universities in the context of global competition face the most difficult tasks. For the fourth time, Altai State University is convening a large international educational forum "Altai - Asia 2020: Eurasian educational space - new challenges and best practices", the purpose of which is to create a platform for a constructive dialogue among universities, business industries and government, study best practices and  search for ways to solve urgent problems. The directions of the forum work correspond to the main challenges of the university community", said Rector of Altai State University Sergey Bocharov.

Among the speakers of the "Altai - Asia 2020" forum are representatives of the federal and regional government offices and ministries, representatives of leading Russian universities (Moscow State University, the Higher School of Economics, St Petersburg University, RUDN University, ITMO University, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the National University of Science and Technology "MISiS", The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Kazan Federal University, Tyumen State University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Novosibirsk State University, National Research Irkutsk State Technical University, etc.), Germany, China, Japan, Kazakhstan and other countries of Central and Southeast Asia, University 20.35 experts, Educational Foundation "Talent and Success" (Educational Center Sirius), National Training Fund, Interobrazovanie, the Fund for the Development of Phystech Schools, All-Russian Research Institute of Labor, QS, representatives of business industries (Rostelecom, Gazproneft, Sberbank, etc.), representatives of Russian and foreign student organizations.

The IV Congress of the Association of Asian Universities will be held together with the “Altai-Asia 2020” forum. Today, the Association includes 76 universities, of which 57 universities represent the countries of Central and Southeast Asia.
