A unique set of methodological materials on the organization of summer and winter schools for foreign citizens has been published. The flagship Altai State University took an active part in the development of the document, which is important for the export of education in the Russian Federation.

One of the most important directions of the federal project "Export of Education", implemented within the framework of the national project "Education", is the training of foreign citizens in summer and winter schools, which are held on the basis of Russian universities.

The first stage of this project provided for a comprehensive analysis of world and Russian practices of organizing summer and winter schools for foreign citizens and the creation of a regulatory framework so that this work in Russian universities could have a serious institutional basis.

The document has been developed and published, so now all Russian universities will coordinate and uniformly carry out work on the preparation and conduct of winter and summer schools with the participation of citizens of the near and far abroad.

Altai State University, as one of the leaders in Russia in organizing internships for foreign citizens, was invited by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia as one of the main experts in the implementation of the event “Annual training in summer and winter schools, including on the basis of summer health camps, at least 15 thousand foreign citizens”, organized within the framework of the “Export of Education” project.

"Based on the results of the first stage of the project, which ended in 2019, a very important document was formed - guidelines for the organization and conduct of summer and winter schools for foreign citizens, conducted by Russian universities. Altai State University took the most effective part in the creation of this document, for which it was marked with gratitude in the introduction of this publication”, emphasized Roman Raikin, Vice-Rector for the Development of International Affairs of Altai State University.
