On March 14, AltSU hosted a large multinational spring holiday Navruz with congratulations and creative performances.

Representatives of youth leaders from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan gathered within the walls of AltSU. College students took an active part in the opening of the event, a concert and tasting of national dishes.

“Since Navruz is a holiday of spring, on this day we felt real spring in the yard and inside us”, says Dauren Gabitov, a third-year student of the humanitarian department of AltSU college. “It's nice to see how representatives of different nationalities are preparing for the holiday, rejoicing in the arrival of spring and communicating with each other”.

The participants and guests of the festival were able to taste traditional national dishes. There were a lot of people who wanted to try national dishes, enjoy their taste and aroma. Later, the guests saw a festive spring concert, where they could admire national dances and songs".

“For the first time I visited such a magnificent holiday as Navruz”, says Sofya Semyonova, a 3rd year student. “I have always been interested to know how such holidays are held among people of other nationalities, and I am very glad that I had the opportunity to see it.

All the participants thoroughly prepared for the celebration - there were very tasty dishes and spectacular performances. And most importantly - very beautiful and kind people. I am very glad that there are events where students of different nationalities can communicate with each other and get acquainted with the traditions and culture of other nations".
