On June 15, the Ministry of Labor published the first national rankings of graduate employment from colleges and universities in Russia.

These rankings were developed in accordance with the Government of the Russian Federation’s Decree No. 651 dated May 15, 2025, "On the formation and publication of national rankings of higher education institutions and professional educational organizations," and Order No. 1346-r dated May 28, 2025, "On approval of the methodology for calculating indicators of national rankings of higher education institutions and professional educational organizations."

The rankings are based on data from Rosobrnadzor concerning full-time graduates, focusing on their employment status two years after graduation, and the median salary earned during that period.

Rankings are calculated separately for each education level and field of training, resulting in total of 81 lists.

Altai State University ranks:

• 17th among national universities for graduate employment in the humanities within master's degree programs (including areas such as history and archeology; linguistics and literary studies);

• 25th among national universities for graduate employment in arts and culture within master's degree programs;

• 27th among national universities with less than the median number of graduates for graduate employment in education and pedagogical sciences within master's degree programs;

• 33rd among national universities with less than the median number of graduates for graduate employment in agriculture and agricultural sciences within bachelor's and specialist's degree programs.
