Series of seminars in English for postgraduate students and young scientists will be held at ASU

The National Training Foundation conducts a series of seminars in English “Researcher connect” for postgraduate students and young scientists. The seminar will be held at Altai State University on February 4–6, 2019.

Researcher connect is a training course for scientists, postgraduate students, leaders of the Center of Academic Writing, representatives of the International Relations Office, etc. The program is conducted by professional instructors with extensive international research and program experience. Researcher Connect contributes to the development of communication skills needed in the innovation life cycle – from receiving grants, establishing international partnerships to successful publications and speeches in English, including the use of modern online tools to increase the visibility and citation of the scientists and their organizations. The program is implemented with the support of the British Embassy.

The training workshop speaker will be Lucy Armitage, an independent communications expert, consultant, trainer, who has spent several years working as a communications consultant and trainer at Dialogue Matters, where she developed the organization's expertise in creating collaborations both at the national and international levels. Many years of experience in developing and delivering courses for scientists and researchers in universities, research institutes in the UK and abroad.
