Altai State University delegation took part in the grand opening of the "Kyrgyzstan - Asia 2021" Forum

On September 17, in the city of Cholpon-Ata of the Kyrgyz Republic, the grand opening of the V Asian Student Forum "Kyrgyzstan - Asia 2021" took place, in which the flagship Altai State University took part as a co-organizer.

The international forum began its work two days ago with cultural tours and educational programs. Friday, in accordance with the program "Kyrgyzstan - Asia 2021", became the main day of the event, gathering all participants, experts, and guests on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul for the grand opening of the jubilee forum and the plenary session.

K. Sadykov, Rector of KNU named after J. Balasagyn, gave a welcoming speech:

“University students are an invaluable intellectual capital of any country and nation. The future of the state largely depends on the goals and objectives that we set for the younger generation, and which they independently determine as leading and decisive in their destiny! "

R. Raikin, Head of the co-organizing delegation, Vice-Rector for the International Affairs Development of Altai State University, also welcomed the participants and expressed his gratitude to the Kyrgyz colleagues for the warm welcome. Roman Raikin expressed confidence that the forum participants would be able to achieve the results that were outlined since authoritative experts and talented youth took part in the work of "Kyrgyzstan - Asia 2021".

Rector of Altai State University S.Bocharov addressed the forum participants with a video greeting. He recalled that the forum has a rich history and is a unique youth platform for the development of the entire range of areas of youth cooperation in the Asian region.

Within the framework of the grand opening of the forum, the presentation of its main symbol - a circulating student’s record book, in which the forum receives its grade based on the results of work.

Then, a coordination meeting of representatives of universities - members of the Association of Asian Universities was followed by a cultural event on the shore of Issyk-Kul and summing up the results of "Kyrgyzstan - Asia 2021".
