From September 23 to 26, Altai State University will take part in the International Forum "Biotechnology: Science, Education, Industry", which unites two large-scale scientific events at once - the III International Biotechnological Symposium "Bio-Asia-2021" and the IV Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) "From Bioproducts to Bioeconomics" as reports the official website of the Ministry of Science and Education of Altai Krai.

Bio-Asia-2021, organized by a flagship university with the support of the regional government, will bring together about 500 leading and young scientists from different countries of the world who will take part in 12 events in 6 areas (tracks), where the main speakers will be 23 leading speakers from Russia, USA, Germany, and Kazakhstan.

The organizers note that the main goal of the upcoming event is the presentation of the advanced achievements of the biotechnological industry in Russia and the world, the exchange of experience in the development and implementation of modern research methods, discussion of topical issues of biotechnology education and building partnerships between scientific, educational organizations, and industrial partners.

As for the entire forum, within its framework, it is planned to hold an expert and analytical session "Engineering centers in the field of biotechnology and living systems: issues of positioning and building partnerships with business", as well as in the symposium and conference program - 8 schools for young researchers: "Flow cytometry and molecular phylogeny of plants”; "Modern methods of plant biotechnology"; "Principles and methods of cultivation of human and animal cells"; "Preclinical studies of drugs"; "Pharmacopoeial analysis of phytoproducts"; "Radiation control of phytoproducts"; "Innovative biotechnological and chemical methods of obtaining target products for the needs of the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries"; “Biotechnological methods of increasing the productive indicators of farm animals.
