AltSU entered the TOP-20 best universities in Russia for work with the electronic library system

On February 11, a ranking of the 20 most efficient universities was formed, having the highest indicators of work with the electronic library "University Library Online" in 2020.

The flagship Altai State University took the 17th position in this ranking among all universities in the country and the 2nd position among flagship universities in Russia. The organizers noted that this ranking is based on an analysis of statistics from more than 500 organizations.

When summing up the results, the number of book circulation, the amount of viewed content and the number of active users of the university were taken into account.

The high ranking positions of AltSU are associated with the active work of teachers in the development and implementation of electronic teaching materials, the use of multimedia and interactive learning technologies, support for the implementation of educational programs and individual educational trajectories of students with electronic content of the AltSU Unified Educational Portal.

Due to the pandemic and the transition to distance technologies, the educational process of the university has undergone significant changes relating to digitalization of learning processes. Currently, there are 5427 electronic online courses that are implemented and ready for implementation that meet modern educational quality standards. They are available on the AltSU Unified Educational Portal. The content of the Open Educational Portal, aimed at applicants, foreign students, students of retraining and advanced training courses, has expanded dramatically: 603 open online courses and over 15,000 registered users. In 2020, the teachers of Altai State University have also created and placed e-courses on external educational platforms Stepik, STsOS RF, University 20.35. The University participates in the formation of national and regional IT policy, the implementation of national projects in Altai Krai, including the "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

The process of migration of research experience into the educational content of e-courses is consistently going on, the attitude to the e-learning system on the part of the conservative part of the university academic community is changing, best practices, ways of transferring knowledge are accumulating, and the quality and scenarios of e-learning are improving.
