ASU College presented specialties at the federal stage of the All-Russian Job Fair “Russian Jobs. Time of opportunity"
On June 28, the federal stage of the All-Russian Job Fair “Working in Russia. Time of opportunity" was held. More than 300 employers offered their vacancies, opening up opportunities for thousands of job seekers in various professions. At the fair, the ASU College presented two specialties: “Technology for analytical control of chemical compounds” and “Design (by industry).”
The main goal of the event is to help employers find suitable employees, and residents of the region find a job that they will enjoy. The job fair covered various age groups, offering participants information about different professions and educational opportunities.
The ASU College took a unique and interactive approach to presenting specializations. Students of the Design direction together with their teacher Natalya Pozdnyakova inspired everyone to challenge their creative abilities with the help of a drawing area. They set up easels with canvases and invited fair participants to try on the role of an artist. The students also held a master class on the “Monotyping” technique.
Future chemists and their teacher Margarita Gorovaya gave the guests a quiz about this complex science and fascinated them with the “Molecular Cuisine” master class, where those interested could create artificial red caviar.
Volunteers from the volunteer squard “Boomerang” helped in the work of all sites of the Altai State University College.
"It was a large-scale event. Many people approached the chemists, as many wanted to try their hand at “molecular gastronomy,” and at the designers’ site, the guests put their dreams on paper!" said Arina Gudilina, a college student at Altai State University.
Viktor Tomenko, Governor of Altai Krai visited the fair and carefully examined the locations.
Deputy of Altai Krai Legislative Assambly Sergei Bulaev became an active participant in the Altai State University College sites. He discussed an important area of training – “operation of unmanned aircraft systems” with Anna Prasolova, Deputy Director for Strategic Development of the ASU College.
“We talked with Sergei Sergeevich about our new specialty “operation of unmanned aerial systems” and the training of specialists for the agricultural sector of the region. The communication turned out to be productive: we agreed to meet with the Director of the College for further cooperation, as well as to discuss issues of preparing IT specialists for employment at leading enterprises in the region,” said Anna Prasolova, Deputy Director for Strategic Development of the ASU College.
Throughout the event, applicants and their parents asked questions about specialties, and features of admission and training.
“A lot of applicants and their parents showed interest in the areas of training. We are waiting for everyone in our office who wants to enroll in the Altai State University College!” said the organizer of the “Design” platform, a teacher at the College of ASU Natalya Pozdnyakova.
