6 August 2020 Department of Information and Media Communications
On August 3, 2020 it became known about the inclusion of the scientific journal "Society and Security Insights", ISSN 2619-0249 (Print), ISSN 2619-0230 (Online), in the authoritative European base of scientific citation ERIH PLUS.

The founders of the scientific journal are Altai State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana, Kazakhstan). The journal is the official scientific publication of the Association of Asian Universities and a platform for communication of leading scientists on cross-border cooperation, publishing original articles on a wide range of areas in the study of public security, in its various forms and manifestations, viewed from the perspective of social sciences. This is the second journal affiliated with Altai State University in the ERIH PLUS scientific citation base.

The European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH) is a citation index developed by European researchers in the field of humanities. This index includes publications in English and in the main European languages. ERIH is considered a respected and recognizable resource, it is not included in the blacklist or fake metrics, therefore, the indexing of the journal in ERIH is important for the popularization of the journal in scientific circles in Europe and the world. ERIH is also seen as a stepping stone for a socio-humanitarian journal on the way to indexing in Scopus or Web of Science Core Collection. Earlier ERIH began to index another university journal "Peoples and Religions of Eurasia".

Congratulations to the editor-in-chief, Doctor of Social Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Development Svetlana Maksimova, the editorial board, editors and all authors with a worthy appraisal of their work!
