A methodological guide "How to make a university green" has been published, which contains recommendations for the greening of universities and successful examples of the introduction of environmental practices by the staff and students of higher educational institutions of the country.

The collection includes 12 cases implemented in 7 universities from 6 cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Belgorod, and Rubtsovsk.

The experience of the Rubtsovsk Institute (branch) of Altai State University on the restoration of a forest belt in the Uglovsky region was included in the methodological guide. Within the framework of the Breathe Easily project on reforestation, students of the Institute twice a year travel to the areas affected by the forest fires to plant young pine seedlings. The project has been implemented since 2017. During this time, students have planted more than 3 million trees.

The guide has been developed by the ERA Foundation and the ECA Movement as part of the direction for working with students of the all-Russian program of Coca-Cola in Russia “Share with Us”.

The collection is addressed to teachers and employees of university administrations who are interested in introducing green measures and tools into the activities of their institution and in the formation of environmental culture in the university environment.
